And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Does not man remember that We created him before this, and he was non existent? 67 By your Lord, We will surely muster them and the devils together. Then We will surely bring them all, on their knees, around Hell, 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 And once again: We shall save [from hell] those who have been conscious of Us; but We shall leave in it the evildoers, on their knees. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance! 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 So have you seen him who denied Our signs and says, “I shall certainly be given wealth and children?” 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor. 81 Never; soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents. 82
