It is Allah Who created the animals for you, in order for you to ride some of them, and some to eat. 79 And there are other benefits in them for you and that ye may attain thereby to any need that is in your breasts and upon them and upon ships ye are borne. 80 And [thus] He displays His wonders before you: which, then, of God's wonders can you still deny? 81 Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? They were more numerous than themselves and greater in strength and in impression on the land, but they were not availed by what they used to earn. 82 For when their messengers came to them with Clear Signs, they exulted in such knowledge (and skill) as they had; but that very (Wrath) at which they were wont to scoff hemmed them in. 83 But when they saw Our Punishment, they said: "We believe in Allah,- the one Allah - and we reject the partners we used to join with Him." 84 But their believing after they had seen Our chastisement did not avail them. That has been Allah's Way concerning His servants. And the unbelievers courted utter loss, then and there. 85
