۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
