The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
