O My bondmen! no fear shall be on you Today, nor shall ye grieve 68 [You] who believed in Our verses and were Muslims. 69 Enter Paradise, you and your wives, in happiness. 70 To them will be passed round, dishes and goblets of gold: there will be there all that the souls could desire, all that their eyes could delight in: and ye shall abide therein (for eye). 71 And this is the garden which you are given as an inheritance on account of what you did. 72 “For you are many fruits in it, for you to eat therefrom.” 73 But the evildoers shall live for ever in the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), 74 from which there is no relief: they will remain there in utter despair. 75 We wronged them not, but they it was who did the wrong. 76 They shall call out: “O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us.” He will reply: “You must stay on in it. 77 Indeed We have brought the Truth to you, but most of you detest the Truth. 78 Have they contrived some scheme? If so, We too will contrive a scheme. 79 Or do they, perchance, think that We do not hear their hidden thoughts and their secret confabulations? Yea, indeed, [We do,] and Our heavenly forces are with them, recording [all]. 80 Say: "If Ar-Rahman had a son I would have been the first of worshippers." 81 Exaltations be to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, above that which they describe' 82 So leave them alone to indulge in their vanities and to frolic about until they encounter that Day of theirs against which they have been warned. 83 And He it is Who is Allah in the heavens and Allah in the earth; and He is the Wise, the Knowing. 84 Blessed be He, who holds the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them. He alone has knowledge of the Hour, and to Him will you return. 85 And those they invoke besides Him do not possess [power of] intercession; but only those who testify to the truth [can benefit], and they know. 86 And if you ask them who created them, they will surely say, God. How then are they turned away? 87 We call to witness the cry of the Messenger: “O Lord, these are a people not wont to believe!” 88 Then bear with them [O Muhammad] and say, "Peace." They will soon come to know. 89
