Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But no; I swear by what you see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
