And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
