۞ And when the son of Mary is cited as an example, behold, thy people turn away from it 57 And say: "Are our aliha (gods) better or is he ['Iesa (Jesus)]?" They quoted not the above example except for argument. Nay! But they are a quarrelsome people. Have no doubt about it and follow me; this is the straight path. 61 And let not Shaitan (Satan) hinder you (from the right religion, i.e. Islamic Monotheism), Verily, he (Satan) to you is a plain enemy. 62 When Jesus came with clear signs, he said, "Now I have come to you with wisdom, in order to make clear to you some of the things about which you dispute: therefore fear God and obey me. 63 Lo! Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him. This is a right path. 64 But parties from among them differed, so woe to those who were unjust because of the chastisement of a painful day. 65 Are they merely waiting for the Hour, which will come upon them suddenly and take them unawares? 66 The intimate friends on that Day will be hostile unto one another save the God-fearing. 67
