Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 high above? 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 preferring the present life, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 But how are you to know? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
