The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
