Tell them, (O Muhammad): "Who protects you, during the night or the day from the Most Compassionate Lord?" And yet they turn away from the Admonition of their Lord. 42 Or have they gods to defend them, other than Us? Indeed, they are unable to help themselves, neither shall they be guarded in safety from Us. 43 Nay, We gave provision to these and their fathers until life was prolonged to them. Do they not then see that We are visiting the land, curtailing it of its sides? Shall they then prevail? 44 Say, "I do but warn you according to revelation": But the deaf will not hear the call, (even) when they are warned! 45 yet if even a breath of your Lord's punishment touched them, they would say, "Woe to us! We were indeed wrongdoers." 46 And We set a just balance for the Day of Resurrection so that no soul is wronged in aught. Though it be of the weight of a grain of mustard seed, We bring it. And We suffice for reckoners. 47 We gave Moses and Aaron the Salvation and a Radiance, and a Remembrance for the godfearing 48 those who fear Allah in the Unseen, tremble because of the Hour. 49 This is a blessed remembrance, sent down by Us; so do you deny it? 50
