No one will be afflicted with any hardship without it being the will of God. The hearts of whoever believed in God will receive guidance. God has the knowledge of all things. 11 And obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon Our Messenger is only [the duty of] clear notification. 12 Allah, there is no god except He. In Allah let the believers put their trust. 13 O you who believe! surely from among your wives and your children there is an enemy to you; therefore beware of them; and if you pardon and forbear and forgive, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 14 Your wealth and children are but a trial, and with Allah is a mighty wage. 15 So fear God as far as you are able, and give ear, and obey, and expend well for yourselves. And whosoever is guarded against the avarice of his own soul, those -- they are the prosperers. 16 If you offer up to God a goodly loan, He will amply repay you for it, and will forgive you your sins: for God is ever responsive to gratitude, forbearing, 17 He knows that which is beyond the ken of perception as well as that which can be perceived. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 18
