The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
