Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Say: 'I take refuge with the Lord of Daybreak 1 from the evil of all that He created; 2 "And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away). 3 From the mischief of those who practise secret arts; 4 and from the evil of the envier when he envies." 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
