And (remember) when your Lord said to Moosa, “Go to the unjust people.” 10 and ask them, "Why do you not fear God?" 11 He said: "My Lord! Verily, I fear that they will belie me, 12 and then my breast will be straitened and my tongue will not be free: send, then, [this Thy command] to Aaron. 13 And they have upon me a [claim due to] sin, so I fear that they will kill me." 14 He said: 'Never so, go both of you with Our signs; We shall be with you, listening 15 Go to the Pharaoh and tell him: 'We bring a message from the Lord of all the worlds 16 that you let the Children of Israel go with us.'" 17 (The Pharaoh) said: "Did we not bring you up as a child? And you lived a number of years of your life with us. 18 And thou didst the deed thou didst, being one of the ungrateful!' 19 (Moses) replied: "I did do that and I was in the wrong, 20 I fled from you because I feared you. But my Lord has given me judgment and made me one of the Messengers. 21 “And is this some great reward for which you express favour upon me that you have enslaved the Descendants of Israel?” 22 Firon said: And what is the Lord of the worlds? 23 Said Moosa, “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; if you believe.” 24 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said to those around: "Do you not hear (what he says)?" 25 Moses went on, "He is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers." 26 Pharaoh said, "This messenger who has been sent to you is surely possessed!" 27 Moses continued: "(He is) the Lord of the east and the west, and all between them. If you only had any understanding!" 28 (Pharaoh) said: If thou choosest a god other than me, I assuredly shall place thee among the prisoners. 29 Moses said: "Even if I were to bring a Clear Sign to you?" 30 Said Firaun, “Then bring it, if you are of the truthful.” 31 So (Moses) cast his staff, and lo, it turned into a living serpent. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it looked white to the beholders. 33

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
