With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
