No, by the moon! 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 Warn the men. 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 except the people of the right hand 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
