The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And by oath of the day that is a witness and by oath of a day in which the people present themselves. 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 when they were seated over it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
