Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
