The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
