Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 who show off, 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
