Say, "Sufficient is Allah between me and you as Witness. He knows what is in the heavens and earth. And they who have believed in falsehood and disbelieved in Allah - it is those who are the losers." 52 They ask you to hasten in bringing chastisement upon them. Had there not been an appointed term for it, the chastisement would have already visited them; in fact it will come down upon them all of a sudden (at its appointed time) while they will not be aware of it. 53 They ask you to hasten on the chastisement, and most surely hell encompasses the unbelievers; 54 The day when the punishment will envelop them from above them and from below their feet, and He will say, “Taste the flavour of your deeds!” 55 O YOU servants of Mine who have attained to faith! Behold, wide is Mine earth: worship Me, then, Me alone! 56 Every soul shall taste of death; then unto Us ye shall be returned. 57 And (as for) those who believe and do good, We will certainly give them abode in the high places in gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein; how good the reward of the workers: 58 Who persevere, and put their trust in their Lord! 59 And how many a moving creature there is that beareth not its provision! Allah provideth for it and for you. And He is the Hearer, the Knower. 60 And if thou wert to ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth, and constrained the sun and the moon (to their appointed work)? they would say: Allah. How then are they turned away? 61 God outspreads and straitens His provision to whomsoever He will of His servants; God has knowledge of everything. 62 And if thou wert to ask them: Who causeth water to come down from the sky, and therewith reviveth the earth after its death? they verily would say: Allah. Say: Praise be to Allah! But most of them have no sense. 63
