Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
QAF. I CALL to witness the glorious Qur'an. 1 Nay! they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, so the unbelievers say: This is a wonderful thing: 2 What, when we are dead and turned to dust? That indeed would be an unlikely return' 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 All these are to serve as eye openers and as a lesson to every being who is prone to turn (to the Truth). 8 And We send down water as a blessing from the sky, and grow gardens with it and the grain for harvest, 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood and people of Tubba'. Each of them denied the apostles. So My threat became a reality. 14 Are We then wearied with the first creation? Aye! they are in dubiety regarding a new creation. 15
