Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I swear by all that you can see, 38 and all that you do not see, 39 This Qur’an is the speech of Allah with a gracious Noble Messenger. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 And We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it). 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
