The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
