۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
