I swear by all that you can see, 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
