The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
