Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7
And whoever turns himself away from the remembrance of the Beneficent Allah, We appoint for him a Shaitan, so he becomes his associate. 36 And indeed those devils prevent them from the Straight Path, and they think they are on guidance! 37 But when he comes to Us, he will say (to his satan): “Would that there had been between me and you the distance as between the East and the West. How evil a companion you were!” 38 It will be said [to such a person], "You have done wrong. Having partners in punishment will be of no avail to you today." 39 Canst thou then make the deaf to hear, or give direction to the blind or to such as (wander) in manifest error? 40 Even if We take you away from the world, We shall surely take vengeance on them 41 or make you see the end that We had promised them, for We have full power over them. 42 So, hold fast to the Book that has been revealed to you, you are surely on the right path, 43 it is certainly a reminder to you and to your people and you will soon be called to account. 44 Ask those of Our messengers whom We sent before you, "Did We ever appoint gods to be worshipped besides the Beneficent One?" 45
