[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
