AND LO! [In the course of his wanderings,] Moses said to his servant: "I shall not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas, even if I [have to] spend untold years [in my quest]!" 60 But when they reached the point where the two rivers meet, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, as if through a tunnel. 61 And when the twain had passed by, he said unto his page: bring us our morning-meal, assuredly we have met from this journey of ours, toil 62 He replied, "Did you see when we were resting by the rock, that I forgot the fish? Satan made me forget it, so I did not mention it. It made its way to the sea in a miraculous way!" 63 Musa said: that is that which we have been seeking. So they turned back upon their footsteps, retracing. 64 and they found one of Our servants to whom We had granted Our mercy and had given a knowledge from Ourself. 65 Moses said to him, 'Shall I follow thee so that thou teachest me, of what thou hast been taught, right judgment.' 66 He said, “You will never be able to patiently stay with me.” 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 Said Moosa, “Allah willing, you will soon find me patient and I will not do anything against your instructions.” 69 He said: Well, if thou go with me, ask me not concerning aught till I myself make mention of it unto thee. 70
