3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 And We made his offspring the survivors. 77 And left (his name) for posterity. 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 As such We recompense the gooddoers, 80 He was one of Our believing servants. 81 Then afterwards We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 (Remember when) he came to his Lord with a pure heart; 84 and said to his father and his people: “Whom do you worship? 85 Why do you solicit false gods instead of God? 86 What then is your opinion of the Lord of the Worlds? 87 He then shot a glance at the stars. 88 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' 89 So they turned away from him, and departed (for fear of the disease). 90 Then he slipped unto their gods and said: eat ye not? 91 "What is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)?" 92 And he turned upon them smiting them with his right hand. 93 [But] then the others came towards him hurriedly [and accused him of his deed]. 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 And they devised a plot for him, but We made them the humble. 98 Abraham said: “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." 100 So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 And when he became capable of working with him, Ibrahim said, “O my son, I dreamt that I am sacrificing you therefore now consider what is your opinion”; he said, “O my father! Do what you are commanded! Allah willing, you will soon find me patiently enduring!” 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 We called out to him: "O Abraham, 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 And We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Ishaq, a prophet among the good ones. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself. 113
