Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
