Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

I swear by all that you can see, 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52

God the Almighty always says the truth.
