No, by the moon! 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning to mankind, 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 who will be in Paradise 40 about the guilty ones: 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
