Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
