The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the rangers ranging 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side. 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff. 12 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 And say: "This is only magic. 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
