BE CONSTANT in [thy] prayer from the time when the sun has passed its zenith till the darkness of night, and [be ever mindful of its] recitation at dawn: for, behold, the recitation [of prayer] at dawn is indeed witnessed [by all that is holy]. 78 And as for the night, keep vigil a part of it, as a work of supererogation for thee; it may be that thy Lord will raise thee up to a laudable station. 79 And pray, “My Lord! Admit me with the truth and take me out with the truth*, and give me from Yourself a helpful dominance**.” (* Wherever I come or go ** Through spread of Islam.) 80 And say: Truth hath come and falsehood hath vanished away. Lo! falsehood is ever bound to vanish. 81 And We reveal by means of the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy unto the believers, and it only increaseth the wrong-doers in loss. 82 And when We bestow favor upon the disbeliever, he turns away and distances himself; and when evil touches him, he is ever despairing. 83 Say to them, "Everyone acts in his own way, and your Lord knows best who is rightly guided." 84
