The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Indeed, your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 And say: "This is only magic. 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21
