THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
