Remind them, therefore, that by the grace of your Lord you are neither a soothsayer nor possessed. 29 Or do they say:- "A Poet! we await for him some calamity (hatched) by Time!" 30 Say (unto them): Except (your fill)! Lo! I am with you among the expectant. 31 Is this what their senses tell them, or are they a rebellious people? 32 Do they say, "He has falsely invented it (the Quran)?" In fact, they themselves have no faith. 33 Let them produce a scripture like it, if what they say is true. 34 Were they created by nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and earth? Nay, but they have not sure faith. 36 Or do they own the treasures of thy Lord? Or have they been given charge (thereof)? 37 Or, do they have a ladder on which they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Hath He daughters and ye sons? 39 Or askest thou a hire from them so that they are with debt laden? 40 Do they possess knowledge of the unseen, so that they can write it down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! 42 Or do they have a God besides Allah? Purity is to Allah from their ascribing of partners to Him. 43 And were they to see a portion of the sky falling, they will say, “It is a heap of clouds.” 44 Hence, leave them alone until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs, when they will be stricken with terror: 45 Their deception will not avail them in the least on that day, nor will they be helped. 46 Truly, for those who do wrong there is a punishment besides that, though most of them do not know it. 47 And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise. 48 Extol His glory at night, and at the setting of the stars. 49
