In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 Consider these [messages] that spread [the truth] far and wide, 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
