Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils. 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 Our Lord, bring us forth out of it! Then, if we revert, we shall be evildoers indeed.' 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
