The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
