The people of Lot rejected the Messengers. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear God? 161 I am for you an honest Messenger. 162 So fear Allah, and obey me. 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 164 Go ye in, of all creatures, unto the males? 165 And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing." 166 They said, “O Lut, if you do not desist, you will be expelled.” 167 He said: I am in truth of those who hate your conduct. 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 We therefore rescued him and his entire family. 170 Except an old woman, among those who remained behind. 171 Then We destroyed the others. 172 And We rained down upon them a rain, and evil was the rain on those warned. 173 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 174 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 175
