And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And the earth have We spread out wide - and how well have We ordered it! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 So surely those who are unjust shall have a portion like the portion of their companions, therefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
