▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
