Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 Yet refuse small kindnesses! 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
