Abraham was, certainly, an obedient and upright person. He was not a pagan. 120 Grateful to Him for His favours; so He chose him and guided him to the path that is straight, 121 And We gave him in this world good, and in the world to come he shall be among the righteous. 122 So We commanded you to follow the way of Abraham the upright who was not of idolaters. 123 The Sabbath was only prescribed for those who differed concerning it, and verily, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein they used to differ. 124 Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation and reason with them in a way that is best. Your Lord knows best those who have strayed away from His path, and He knows best those who are rightly guided. 125 If you have to retaliate, do so to the extent you have been injured; but if you forbear it is best for those who bear with fortitude. 126 And be patient and your patience is not but by (the assistance of) Allah, and grieve not for them, and do not distress yourself at what they plan. 127 For Allah is with those who restrain themselves, and those who do good. 128
Almighty Allah's Truth.
