And when Moses said unto his servant: I will not give up until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I march on for ages. 60 Then, when they reached their meeting, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, burrowing. 61 And after the two had walked some distance, [Moses] said to his servant: "Bring us our mid-day meal; we have indeed suffered hardship on this [day of] our journey!" 62 He said: Did you see when we took refuge on the rock then I forgot the fish, and nothing made me forget to speak of it but the Shaitan, and it took its way into the river; what a wonder! 63 Said Moosa, “This is exactly what we wanted”; so they came back retracing their steps. 64 Then they found one of Our votaries, whom We had blessed and given knowledge from Us. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 He said: Lo! thou canst not bear with me. 67 And how shouldst thou bear patiently that thou hast never encompassed in thy knowledge?' 68 Moses said, "God willing, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He said: 'If you follow me, you must not question me about anything till I myself speak to you concerning it' 70
